No. 3 Shippensburg defeated No. 1 Newberry 3-2 in overtime to win the 2025 DII Field Hockey Championship. Senior Kelly Naude scored the game-winning goal to give the Raiders their first championship since 2021 and their fifth in the last 10 years.
The eight teams that will compete in the single-elimination tournament were announced on Sunday, Nov. 9, during qualifiers on NCAA.com. The first round started on November 15th, and the championship took place on Sunday, November 23rd.
