The world is concentrated in the countryside and, of course, in nature. Rural world and the only one who retains a living memory and belongs primarily to his childhood (symbolized by the blue machadian); evenings and things inseparable from your own memories.

In this subtitled article Rural elegyit evokes a new thought of the soul, always the same and always different. For this, use the medicine from prose poemmoved the mix of the two sexes, which of course never bothered to differentiate.

He divides it into three parts: “Ámbitos”, “Imágenes” and “Las ausencias”. there “the light of the poor”which rhymes with sadness; el miedo, de post-war, deserving and maquis; emigration: “I shall never forget the Umbrian step of those who emigrated”; animals: beasts and pájaros; train and abuelos; family and friends, and especially their deaths (Adela, Regina, Michu, Caco…); barro and porch; places, Christmas (“land despoblada en que crící”) and consumed, like Córdoba.

“Ahí teners el paisaje, escribelo”lemons. This applies. It’s a testigo. Because we “live in despair” to avoid the “liquid oblivion”, we sing and listen with love so that this universe does not disappear: “I am a king, so simple and small that it fits in the back of my hand”.

Given his appeal for simplicity (“How can I not be humiliated in these areas?”), López Andrade’s lyrical language is opulent. Loaded with certain adjectives and rich similes and inspired metaphors, whence imagination and dreaminess prevail. According to Gabi Martínez, he is “one of the last virtuosos of melancholy”.
