Alleged Mexican drug trafficker captured in Guatemala

“In areas of Las Cruces, Petén, the National Civil Police and the Guatemalan Army carried out an incursion and monitoring of a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking, achieving the capture of a Mexican citizen and three Guatemalans“, mentions the report.

The detainees were identified as Francisco “N”, 28 years old; Esau “N”, 28 years old; Nahum “N”, 26 years old; and Dacelis “N”, 35 years old, who is of Mexican origin.

Two RPG7 grenades, six anti-tank ammunition, one fragmentation grenade, seven rifles, a pistol, a revolver, 58 hoppers, various amounts of ammunition, 10 radio transmitters, two telescopic sights and three bulletproof vests were seized from the detainees.

Likewise, the National Civil Police of Guatemala eradicated more than 430 thousand plants of marijuana with a value close to 20.9 million dollarsaccording to the estimate of law enforcement agencies.
