Rosalía revolutionizes the BRITs with her rendition of ‘Berghain’ with rave, orchestra and Björk

Spanish singer Rosalía revolutionized the BRIT Awards in Manchester this Saturday with her spectacular performance of ‘Berghain’, accompanied by an orchestra, dancers and Icelandic artist Björk.

A custom created in the center of the Co-Op Live stage in Manchester was the stage chosen by the Catalan artist to interpret mainly the first single from her album “Lux”, but with a version different from the usual, rare cases.

With a violin coup, Rosalía debuted in the British music city with her characteristic halo, dressed in an angelic white dress and dressed for the orchestra, as in the music video, she began to sing opera at the same time, only to hear the verses in the castellan.

But the end of speaking to the BRITs audience was the surprise appearance of Björk to sing a part of the song, a lapidary line from “The only way to save us is with divine intervention”, which, for God’s sake, goes into the last line that the Catalans had to watch.

In homage to the song’s title, Rosalía transformed the stage at the famous Berlin club and performed her own rave alongside a group of dancers, convulsing movements and an electronic control panel.

The Catalan artist included a star-studded list of performances for this 49th year, together with Harry Styles – on his way to the stages after a three-year hiatus -, Olivia Dean, Raye, Alex Warren, Sombre, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, the voices of the k-pop group HUNTR/X or the Fallecido tribute to the musician and singer William Black Sabbath, led by the Black Sabbath singer.

Rosalia won the star statuette of the International Artist of the Year facing strong competition, with puertorriqueño Bad Bunny, alongside other big stars such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, CMAT, Doechii, Sombr or Tyler, The Creator.

Rosalía’s presence at the BRITs has raised huge expectations among her followers since her announcement, as her release of ‘Lux’ in November curtailed most of her public appearances and Manchester is expected to be her last live performance before the start of her world tour, which arrives in Lyon, France on March 16.
