The second semi-final of the 2026 Song Festival took place this Saturday, February 28, and five finalists were selected, four of them chosen through a combination of jury and public votes and one exclusively by public votes.
Sing Bandits, com Rosa, João Ribeiro, com Caction of Want, Sandrino, com Ready for Everything, SIvana Peres, com There’s no end, They were chosen by joint vote of the jury and public. Gonçalo Gomes, com Sweet Illusion was determined with public votes.
These competitors are joined by those who qualified in the first semi-final: André Amaro, com Give me Your Hand”, Dinis Mota, com I swore, THEN, com Sprint, Marquise, com rain, and Never Kill the Mandarin, com Smoke.
The final of the 2026 Song Festival takes place on March 7th and the performances of the ten selected songs can be reviewed on the Official YouTube of the Song Festival.
