Benfica lost 1-0 at home to Spanish side Real Madrid. The game took place tonight, February 17th, in the first leg of play-off access to the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Brazilian Vinícius Júnior scored, in the 50th minute, the only goal of the match. On January 28th, the ‘reds’ beat the ‘merengues’ 4-2 and had guaranteed access to the play-off from ‘Champions’.
