If it is said that in art all themes are popular, that the novel is always in the form of their approximation.
That’s what we get ConstellationsThe work that Sergio Peris-Mencheta taught in Madrid’s Inclán Valley about the couple’s romance with great originality is its comprehensiveness, conceived as an experimental play of love and risk.
The author of this work, Nick Payne, found many inspirations in physics to offer an imaginative drama characterized by science.
She was noted to have performed at The Royal Court in London in 2012, and shortly thereafter was put on stage in Madrid and Barcelona in less ambitious productions than the current one. Directed by Fernando Soto and featuring only two actors (Inma Cuevas and Fran Calvo), the Madrid-based film received favorable reviews and ran in various cinemas in the capital in 2014.
Last night, the National Theater in London revolved around it, with a production schedule that allowed two pairs of actors to play the piece — it was supposed to have four different roles — every night. Sergio Peris-Mencheta (as a hizo con kitchen), however, if he was inspired by this English theater production I have added them much more completely. Let’s see how.
The idea was created by the director Constellations as a game of probability and introduced a music component to the function. The casting includes six actors who are both musicians and master of ceremonies (Litus Ruíz and Ester Rodríguez alternate in these roles).
At the beginning, we see how the viewer chooses by lot two actors from the list to play in the work (Jordi Coll and María Pascual were chosen on the night out) and also chooses a moment in which they are known. The rest of the list is integrated into the orchestra, which will directly illustrate the performance.

In the same way, the simple story we see becomes complicated: a man and a woman meet at a barbecue, and we see this repeated event with variations – a small gesture, a significant reaction, a change in attitude… – until it is clear, it is clear, until one of those probable events happens.
This is the narrative logic that keeps the work moving forward to make life fit for one, sometimes falling into repetition of scenes from many scenes that annoyed me at times.
But both actors are wonderful, portraying themselves with humor as well as drama in keeping with a story that is tragic and profound.

When I think about the completeness of the text, I imagine that for the many different actors who are nocturnal and very diverse parallel universes of the scene they have to interpret, they have to follow a basic guide that allows them to come across a semi-trail project.
Peris-Mencheta reunited a huge team around this production and the addition of the orchestra adds to the fact that it has a larger performance space.
A look at the scene will help you understand fragmented narrative dramafrom which variations of each number quickly appear. The lighting (Ion Aníbal) helps a lot, which turns on and pays off in cases like watching TikTok.
There is no shadow of experimentation, of play, of being present at a theatrical exercise. In any case, the director was able to create an analogy between the physical and cultural complex and our lives with this unique portrayal, which is no small feat.
Finally no entry. Now is the time for public theaters to think about them How to fix this absurd production of shows that entered before your exterior programming tasks for six weeks only.
