Online MBA from Porto Business School is 6th best worldwide

Portuguese management schools continue to score points in international rankings. Porto Business School’s Global Online MBA now ranks sixth in the world in the Financial Times Online MBA Ranking 2026. With this ranking, the school moves up two positions among the leaders in online teaching. In this segment, it is, in fact, “the only Portuguese institution present in the ranking” released this Monday in the United States, according to PBS.

In February this year, the in-person MBA Católica Lisbon/Nova SBE was ranked among the 25 best in the EU and in 78th place in the Financial Times world ranking. He was also considered 4th best in ‘international experience’ and one of the best in salary progression.

In the case of PBS, the school reached first place worldwide in “Value for Money” and also reached first position in ‘general satisfaction’, highlighting the strong value of the investment associated with the program. Alumni’s career journey continues to stand out, with students reporting an average salary increase of 28% three years after graduation. “These results are further reinforced by the school’s performance in the “Online Interaction” dimension (second place worldwide), which guarantees a highly collaborative and connected learning environment”, notes the institution in a statement.

The MBA’s “Global” designation reflects great diversity, with students coming from 21 countries and five continents. Diversity is also visible in the gender balance: “Porto Business School has the highest percentage of female students in the ranking (47%) and is the only institution to achieve a 50/50 ratio between male and female professors, the maximum possible score according to the Financial Times gender criteria”.
