This Sunday, March 15, Benfica won the futsal League Cup by beating Elétrico de Ponte Sôr 7-1, in a final held in Gondomar.
This was the fifth time that the Reds won this trophy, having benefited from goals from Carlos Monteiro, Jacaré, Eduardo Tchuda, Silvestre Ferreira (twice), Arthur and Kutchy. For the Alentejo, Simi Saiotti scored.
Benfica is now one trophy behind Sporting, who have six titles, among the winners of this competition.
