Drone attack on the US Embassy in Iraq is recorded

The United States Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, suffered a drone attack this Saturday, according to a senior Iraqi security official, while international journalists captured smoke emanating from the building.

“A drone attacked the embassy,” the security official told the AFP agency and a second official confirmed the attack.

The attack came after a series of offensives against an influential pro-Iran armed group that left two dead in the Iraqi capital, security sources revealed.
