USA said on Friday that he supports Pakistanafter Islamabad ordered bombings on neighboring Afghanistan and declared open war on the Taliban government after a series of clashes.
“I spoke today with the minister of Pakistan Foreign AffairsBaloch, to express our condolences for the lives lost in the recent conflict between Pakistan and the Taliban. We are closely monitoring the situation and express our support for the Pakistan’s right to defend itself of the Taliban attacks,” he wrote in Allison HookerUndersecretary of State for Political Affairs.

The Pakistani force bombed several Afghan cities this Friday, including the capital, Kabuland declared to his neighbor a “open war” in a military escalation after days of clashes.
“Our patience has reached the limit. From now on, it is open war between us and you,” Pakistani Defense Minister said on Friday, Khawaja Asif on social network X.

The historically cordial relations between both neighbors have turned sour in recent months and there have been sporadic confrontations. Pakistan, a nuclear power, accuses the Taliban of harboring armed militants who launch attacks against its territory, something that Kabul denies.
In Geneva, the president of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaricmade a strong call for de-escalation, while the secretary general of the HIM, Antonio Guterressaid he was “deeply concerned by the escalation of violence” and called for the “immediate cessation of hostilities” to return to “the diplomatic route.”
