Around fifty farmers are gathered in front of the Assembly of the Republic in protest against the Mercosur agreement, the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (PAC) and the Government’s response to the bad weather.
Farmers, leaders of the National Agricultural Confederation (CNA) and their associates hold banners with phrases against the CAP reform and the Mercosur agreement.
“No to the EU-Mercosur treaty”one of the tracks reads.
The CNA also delivered a document to the prime minister’s official residence and another to the Assembly of the Republic with demands regarding the PAC, the bad weather and Mercosur.
