DGS reevaluates cardiology reference centers to improve treatment

Four cardiology services in the North warned a few days ago about waiting lists, saying that “there are patients at risk.” In September, Hospital de Santo António proposed to the guardianship and DGS that a surgical unit be created there to treat more patients. Opinions from these entities were in this direction, but nothing progressed. Hospital does not explain why and DE-SNS remains silent. Minister goes to Parliament this Tuesday and the topic must be addressed.
