Turkish Embassy issues alert to its citizens in Mexico due to violence in six states

The Turkish Embassy in Mexico issued a notice addressed to its citizens in the country, given the recent events recorded in various entities.

In the statement, the diplomatic representation reported that it is closely monitoring the situation in Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Tamaulipas, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas.

This Sunday, Rubén N., alias El Mencho, leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), died during his air transfer to Mexico City after being seriously injured in a military operation carried out by federal forces in the municipality of Tapalpa, Jalisco, reported the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense).
In the face of these events, he asked his fellow citizens to remain vigilant and act with caution, in addition to following the recommendations and instructions of local authorities.
