Thursday has arrived, the day of DN Brasil’s cultural agenda for Lisbon and its surroundings. Carnival is over, but Lisbon shows that the revelry doesn’t end on Ash Wednesday. Next weekend, the city remains in a lively hangover atmosphere, with Brazilian parties, musical tributes and meetings that mix rhythms from around the world.

SUÍNGAÊ – Brazilian music and electronic vibe
If you already miss Carnival, Friday (20) has the right antidote. SUÍNGAÊ arrives at Lusitano da Penha de França as an official hangover for those who still want to keep their energy up there. The party starts at 9:30 pm and mixes Brazilian music with electronic beats, crossing acoustic and digital in a lively dialogue of organic instruments, pick-ups and synths.
Leading the project are Brazilians DJ Santos and Giovanni Trecco, now based in Porto, who transform the track into a meeting point for the Brazilian community and everyone who likes Brazilianness with a contemporary feel. Entries vary between €4 and €7.

Tribute to Hermeto Pascoal + DJ Shalaby + DJ LYA-G
On Saturday (21), Fábrica Braço de Prata hosts a program that crosses musical borders. At 9:30 pm, the tribute to Hermeto Pascoal begins, with Meno Del Picchia, Mariana Urbano, Yedo Gibson, Jonas Dantas and Felipe Bastos celebrating the inventiveness of the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist.
At 10pm, Arabic Night takes over the dance floor with DJ Shalaby, who mixes influences from Southwest Asia and North Africa with modern and vintage urban sounds. From 11pm onwards, DJ LYA-G leads the night through Afro, Latin and World Music frequencies, in sets designed as a collective experience

Colombina Clandestina – Carnival Hangover
Sunday (22) starts early and outdoors. From 3pm, Village Underground Lisboa welcomes Colombina Clandestina – Ressaca de Carnaval, an artivist collective that transforms the spirit of street Carnival into music, performance and inclusive celebration. Born in Lisbon, Colombina unites peoples, rhythms and social agendas in a meeting marked by drumming, irreverence and collective participation.
It’s the chance to close the weekend by keeping the carnival energy alive, even away from the Brazilian summer. With free entry, the event promises color, dance and festive occupation of one of the city’s coolest cultural spaces.
