BOGOTÁ.- Colombian authorities found on Tuesday the lifeless body of Cristian Esneider Martínand 16 year old student of the Forest University which had been reported as missing during the early hours of last Sunday, in a wooded area of the municipality of Gachancipá, close to Bogotá.

“His departure represents a loss that deeply moves us,” the institution said in a statement.
According to what his relatives told local media, the GPS location of his personal devices placed him in Gachancipá, a municipality located about 50 kilometers north of Bogotá, where he was later found lifeless.
“We make a special call for prudence and respect for the memory of the student, his family and for the process that the authorities will carry out, avoiding speculation or the dissemination of information that is not confirmed,” the university added.
