The Ukrainian delegation traveled this Monday, February 16, to the city of Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the third round of trilateral talks with Russia and the USA, which begins on Tuesday.
“On the way to Geneva”wrote one of Kiev’s envoys, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Kirill Budanov, on social media, adding that he would take advantage of the train journey to speak with the remaining members of the delegation about “the lessons” of Ukrainian history and “search for the correct conclusions.”
Like the rest of the population, the Ukrainian delegation can only travel abroad by train or land due to the closure of airspace caused by the invasion launched by Russia in February 2022.
“Ukraine must safeguard its interests”concluded Budanov.
