Faced with the alternative of choosing between a radical transformation of political institutions and maintaining order and stability, our country is also in the leading group, with 53% preferring change over maintaining the situation. France leads the group with about 70% in favor of radical transformation.

Immigration is another aspect always present on the agenda of citizens’ concerns. Almost half of Europeans see the migration phenomenon as a threat to the cohesion of the country, compared to a third who see it as a necessity to compensate for the aging of the population.

In this chapter, Spain stands out from the others with 49% who believe that immigration is essential to sustain growth.
