Sonae concluded the sale of the 25.86% stake it held in Parque Dom Pedro Shopping, in Campinas (Brazil), in a deal valued at 95 million euros, the group announced this Monday, 9 February.
The transaction was carried out by Sonae Sierra, a shopping center management unit, and sold to two Brazilian real estate funds: Hedge Shopping Parque Dom Pedro Fundo de Investimento Imobiliário and FII Parque Dom Pedro Shopping Center.
The agreement had been announced on December 31, 2025 and was only finalized after approval by the Brazilian competition authority.
Parque Dom Pedro was developed by Sonae Sierra and opened in 2002. Today it is controlled and managed by ALLOS, the largest shopping center operator in the country, where Sierra remains a leading shareholder.
In this Monday’s statement, the group states that Sonae Sierra will simplify its position in Brazil, maintaining exposure to the market only through its investment in ALLOS.
