This Wednesday, February 4th, UGT delivered the counter-proposal to review labor legislation, signaling that it has red lines, and adds that matters such as fixed-term contracting or ‘outsourcing’ are “unacceptable”.
“This draft, due to the manifest imbalance it presents, with all the proposals favoring the employer side, and due to the serious content it contains, with cuts in rights in central areas for workers and their representatives, immediately merited a resounding no from UGT and its Unions”reads the counter-proposal delivered this Wednesday to the Government and which Lusa had access to.
In the document, which has more than 30 pages, UGT indicates that “has red lines and in matters such as time banking, fixed-term hiring, dismissals, outsourcing, transfer of establishment, undeclared work, collective bargaining, strikes or union activity in the company, the proposals, as presented, are unacceptable”.
