Venezuela to release dozens of prisoners within 2 days, hundreds more are still being held

A leading Venezuelan prisoners’ rights organization said on Monday that dozens of prisoners were released over the weekend as the United States continued to press the incumbent government to release hundreds of dissidents imprisoned during the rule of ousted leader Nicolas Maduro.
