The infantryman, who had been missing since the second day after an accident during a special operations course near Rio Balsemão in Lamego, was found dead and reported to the army on the third day, January 27.
In the statement, the army refers to the fact that “initiation of the investigative process to investigate the entire vicinity of the corridor, in conjunction with the competent authorities, I am inclined to inform the Military Justice Police (MJM)”.
According to the Tâmega and Sousa sub-regional command, the disappearance alert was issued on Sunday at 23:39 and today there were 31 operators and onze passengers.
