The NCAA has announced its official lacrosse goal relationship with Gilman Gear

The NCAA has announced Gilman Gear as the official supplier of all NCAA lacrosse championships through the 2027 season. This ensures that NCAA lacrosse student-athletes will compete for the highest quality game goals and reinforces the NCAA’s record of excellence in collegiate athletics.

Gilman Gear is a 96-year-old manufacturing company located in Gilman, Connecticut. Its former product is football field equipment. In 2017, it patented its famous ping lacrosse goal, which became the best-selling lacrosse goal in the United States.

David Clendenin, NCAA director of licensing, championships and affiliations, expressed his enthusiasm for the new supplier: “The NCAA is excited to partner with Gilman, a high-quality equipment supplier to our athletes. This agreement will ensure that the NCAA Lacrosse Championship teams will have the highest standard and official game experience at each tournament.”

Neil Gilman, president of Gilman Gear, said, “Gilman Gear is proud to partner with the NCAA on this prestigious event to honor the three-sport men’s and women’s college lacrosse team champions.

“Gilman’s goals meet all the criteria set forth by the NCAA Selection Committee, so it is perfectly appropriate and proper to use them in the NCAA Championship. Our mission is to grow and develop the sport of college lacrosse, and we are confident that our agreement to provide lacrosse goals for the NCAA Championship will increase the NCAA Championship at the highest level.”
