The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 12.48pm on Wednesday for West and East Ulster from 4pm on Friday until 1pm on Saturday.
The weather service says: “Heavy snow possible. Total possible snow accumulation of 7 inches or more.”
“Travel may be difficult. Hazardous conditions could affect the Friday evening commute,” the weather service said. “Watch the latest forecast for updates on this situation.”
