
FULTON, Miss. – Four Itawamba Community College men’s soccer players earned postseason recognition from the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference.
Villads striker Juma was named to the All-MACCC first team after an outstanding first season. The Helsingor, Denmark native led the ICC with 20 goals, the second-highest single-season total in program history. He scored two hat tricks, earned two MACCC Offensive Player of the Week awards and was named NJCAA Division II Player of the Week once.
Will Barber capped off his ICC career with Second Team All-MACCC honors. The Maidstone, England native scored seven goals, the third most on the team, and produced one of the defining moments of the season with the game-winning strike that lifted the Indians ahead of seventh-placed Jones.
Adam White also earned second-team All-MACCC recognition. The freshman from Montreuil, France had three goals, two assists and eight points, including the lone ICC goal in a tie with No. 11 Hinds.
Guilherme Ferri, a rookie from Bady Bassitt in Brazil, rounded out the ICC Second Team selection. He finished with three goals, three assists and nine points. Ferri created a highlight reel hit to center field that helped spark the win over eighth-ranked Pearl River.
The ICC finished the season with an 11-4-4 overall record and a 6-1-4 mark in conference play and advanced to the Region 23 semifinals. The Indians won over seventh- and eighth-ranked opponents and tied with the 11th-ranked team while receiving votes in the final NJCAA rankings.
