Where did Jarrett Stidham go to college?

Jarrett Stidham graduated from Stephenville High School in Stephenville, Texas and was named the top dual-threat quarterback in the 2015 class. 247 sports. Stidham has offers from Auburn, Arizona State, Alabama, Texas Tech and Baylor. He committed to Texas Tech before committing to Baylor and committed to Seth Russell as a true freshman. After Russell was injured midway through the 2015 season, Stidham took over and played in three games before injuring his ankle. He did not participate in Baylor’s Russell Athletic Bowl appearance in 2015 and then transferred from Baylor at the end of the season.

Stidham spent one semester at McLennan Community College, where he did not play football, and then announced he would transfer to Auburn for the 2017 season. Stidham was named Auburn’s starter and had the best season of his college career in 2017, leading the Tigers to a 10-4 record, wins over two No. 1 teams, Georgia and Alabama, and the SEC West Division Championship. Stidham and the Tigers lost to UCF in the 2018 Peach Bowl.

Production from Stidham dipped slightly in the 2018 season, but he still led the Tigers to an 8-5 record and played in the 2018 Music City Bowl against Purdue. Before declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft, Stidham went 15-for-21 with five touchdowns for 373 yards in his final collegiate game in a 63-14 victory and earned Music City Bowl MVP honors.

Stidham was then selected by the New England Patriots with the 133rd pick in the fourth round of that year’s draft.

In three starts at Baylor, Stidham went 2-1 against Oklahoma State and Kansas State. In two seasons at Auburn, Stidham started 27 games and went 18-9, winning the 2017 SEC West Division Championship and the 2018 Music City Bowl.
