Here are the 2025-26 College Football Playoff brackets. On Friday, No. 1 Indiana plays No. 6 Oregon in the Peach Bowl in the championship game against No. 10 Miami (Fla.).

The top 25 rankings don’t always match up in the playoffs, as the five highest-ranked champions automatically advance even if the top 25 teams are not ranked in the top 25.

The four highest-ranked teams advanced to the quarterfinals in the first round, regardless of how they finished their conference. These teams are included in the list bold. The five highest-ranked conference champions receive an automatic bid. All teams in the CFP bracket are included slope.

After the round, there is no resettlement in brackets.

The Final 4 matches are not played on campus like the first round. The quarterfinals, scheduled for December 31 and January 1, will be played in the Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The four highest-ranked teams will be awarded one of these bowls based on historical ties between the bowls and their seeding.

The four quarterfinalists will then meet in the semifinals on Jan. 8 and Jan. 9 in either the Fiesta Bowl or the Peach Bowl. If it is in the lead, it means that the 1st team will play in the 4th place, and the 2nd team will play in the 3rd place. The two semifinalists will compete in the national championship on Monday, January 19 in Miami.
