Monday night’s 27-21 win over No. 10 Miami (Fla.) marked the end of 12 shutouts in the NCAA.com College Football Playoffs. Eleven games, 11 correct choices.

Indiana was CFBCG’s most popular national championship game this year, with 28.1 percent of its shutouts coming to the Hoosiers. But Miami’s surprising success in the title game has resulted in many shutouts, as the Hurricanes have hit just 2.72 percent of their saves in the title game. In fact, 85.88 percent of the shutouts were against No. 2 Ohio State or No. 3 Georgia State in the championship game, neither of which advanced to the semifinals.
