Troy continued to write Facebook Monday that he was not involved in the alleged accident. He also said that “someone was lying and there was no gun”.

“Just sitting there laughing at all you stupid asses thinking my wife tried to do something to me,” he wrote. “Think of anything to try and put two and two together and you all look stupid, I DON’T TALK TO ANYONE…”

“Know that my wife is fine and will be right back HOME to her husband and family,” he added. “Zeruiah is official (sic) that’s all I’m saying and I’ve got her back no matter what.

Zeruiah and Troy Jones, who live in Syracuse, have been regulars on the WEtv reality show “Life After Lockup,” a spinoff of “Love After Lockup,” since Season 5 in 2024. The series focuses on relationships where one of the partners was previously incarcerated; Troy, a native of Buffalo, was serving time for criminal possession and attempted robbery.

“Life After Lockup” returns for Season 7 on Friday, January 16 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on WEtv, which can be streamed for free at Phil. New episodes are also available to stream on the AMC Networks streaming service, ALLBLK.
