New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a theft suspect.
Troopers say an unidentified male suspect was captured on video last week inside a Walmart on State Route 3 in Watertown, Jefferson County. Police said he left the store without paying for the merchandise.
Other details, including what items he allegedly stole and their value, have not been released.
The NYS Police released a photo of the suspect wearing a tan/brown jacket and hat, carrying what appears to be a camouflage-colored green backpack. The snapshot was timestamped at 6:24 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
