Dubbo trainer Michael Mulholland will have a double attack in Sunday’s feature $36,000 Breakout River Meats Cowra Cup (1700m).
Mulholland will saddle the Talkachin galloper with Jake Pracey-Holmes in the race, while stablemate Shadow Dane will also race three-kilogram apprentice Jacob Stiff in the saddle.

Talkachino raced Mulholland in fine form, taking two wins in his last two starts at Tamworth and Orange, both times finishing with Pracey-Holmes on board.
The wins were over 1400m and 1600m and increasing the distance by another 100m looks like a custom.
Shadow Dane also raced well, Stiff leading the six-year-old to victory four starts in Wellington. Stiff was also back in the saddle for Shadow Dane’s last two starts, finishing second and third at Tamworth and Dubbo.
Top jockey Nick Heywood will team up with Wangaratta trainer Craig Weeding to partner favorite Fox Appeal in the Cowra Cup ahead of the TAB Fixed Odds release.
Fox Appeal won the Cooma Cup two starts ago before finishing just over three lengths from the winner in his last start when eighth at Flemington.
Dubbo rider Brett Robb teams up with jockey Kody Nestor as Rouge Moulin runs in the Cowra Cup. Rouge Moulin has an outside lane to contend with but he raced well and was third last to start in the Gilgandra Cup.
Michael Travers, who trains at Wagga Wagga, also has two runners in the Cowra Cup with Mathrin (Adrian Layt) and Dynamic One (Molly Bourke).
