Syracuse, NY – Rome Free Academy fell from undefeated to three spots lower this week in the New York State Sports Writers Association boys hockey poll.
The Black Knights (10-1) dropped to No. 5 in the Division I standings after a Section IV loss to Ithaca last week. Ithaca is ranked #4 this week.
Section III Baldwinsville (6-1-3) remains at No. 11 and West Genesee (9-4-1) comes in at No. 15. Section VI Orchard Park remains atop that group.
In Division II, Whitesboro (7-5) moved up a few spots to No. 12. Skaneateles (9-3) fell eight spots to 13th.
Section I’s Pelham remains No. 1 in Division II.
