Britney Spears he may be planning an international comeback as he supports the music career of one of his sons.
On Instagram post on Thursday, the “Baby One More Time” singer shared a throwback photo of herself at the piano during the 2002 American Music Awards. “I’m sending this piano to my son this year!!!” she wrote. “He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God, man!!!”
While Spears didn’t specify which son she was referring to, she did share a photo with her youngest, Jayden Federline, 19, earlier in the day. The source also confirmed this AND! News that Jayden spent Christmas with his mother. The Grammy winner also shares Sean Preston Federline, 20, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Spears used the post to address her own future on stage, revealing that she has no plans to ever step on stage in America again. “I will never perform in the US again for extremely sensitive reasons,” she explained.
However, she teased the potential for international meetings. “Hopefully soon I’ll be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA.”
Spears, whose 13-year conservatory ended in 2021, also reflected on how dance has become therapeutic for her. “It’s interesting that I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about,” she added. “Yeah and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through fire to save my life.
Spears’ last major live concert performance was the closing night of her Piece of Me Tour in Austin, Texas October 21, 2018at the US Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The Queen of Pop was scheduled to return to Las Vegas in 2019 for a second residency titled “Domination,” but ended up postponing the show and leaving the show indefinitely due to family matters.
