A Freezing Drizzle Weather Warning has been issued for Orange and Putnam counties until Wednesday morning

The National Weather Service issued a weather warning at 4:53 a.m. Wednesday for freezing drizzle until 8 a.m. in Orange and Putnam counties.

“Some locations in southern Connecticut and the lower Hudson Valley, particularly along the Interstate 84 corridor in Connecticut, north of Putnam and Orange County west of Middletown, may still see freezing drizzle early this morning as temperatures hover around freezing. Slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are still possible in these areas. Slow down and use caution when traveling,” the weather service says.
