Now that this year is the culmination of a decade of electoral fraud from 2006 that sparked violence in Mexico with Felipe Calderón, it is very cynical and dishonest that the same people who plan, implement and support it, Claudio Héctor Aguilar Camín, from Luis Carlos Ugaldeo to José Woldoarión, delegate of the ultrapresident of the organization Conordina de la Consarión de Conordina El Yunque, claim that electoral reform would it meant the “restoration of the old regime” which they rightly represent by its election of Carlos Salinas de Gortari.
Only to reveal the derecha fraud, there should be no reform, it is important to know that the political parties’ supposed destruction of the millionaire and the disappearance of the multi-member legislators is a widespread demand of the citizens: With valid laws and electoral institutions that are a guarantee of PRIAN, Morena and their allies will probably win in 20248 and 2. This is the logic of those who do not want any change: It is played by the same rules, including referee to neutralize all suspicions.
It is important to note that with current regulations, the credibility of the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE), chaired by Woldenberg, was revoked when the PRI and PAN were handed over to the Electoral Council in 2003. This grotesque separation of four PAN and five PRI councils, key to the 2006 electoral fraud, calls for no right-wing complaint as it does now. The capture of the IFE was justified by the argument that the legislative majority was halved, which is still disputed. But the real reason was excluded from the izquierda to hear the grounds of impunity in the illegal crime against López Obrador, who tried to limit also the video scandals of Salinas de Gortari, Rosario Robles, Diego Fernández de Cevallos and Carlos Ahumada.
His own Ugalde explained the level of his allies among the political and economic power elites in a document released after his IFE statement: These are the names of Claudio X. González, father and son; former President Ernesto Zedillo; Alberto Bailleres, founder of ITAM; Pedro Aspe, secretary of the Hacienda de Carlos Salinas; ex-chancellor Jorge Castañeda, among others.
Now Ugalde is one of the signatories of the February 3rd manifesto against the possible electoral reform of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the cases of the same people who addressed it in a document published on August 3rd, 2006 – before the failure of the tribunal that declared Calderón elected president – which claims “no hubo fraud” in this election.
One of the most prominent signatories of these two representatives and the leader of one of the groups that dominated the electoral body, the writer Héctor Aguilar Camín, decided to decide on the election of his friend Salinas de Gortari, of whom Claudio “the least invented for a long time… the purest… the truest”.
Yes: It is clear that the opponents of the whole reform are those who represent the old regime, the defenders of the fraudulent elections from Salinas de Gortari to Enrique Peña Nieto, in which Televisa and TV Azteca were the key protagonists with propaganda and cover-up.
For this reason, I insist that there is no electoral reform now and that the elections in 2027 will be held with the same regulations and institutions in place, including the millionaires who clearly favor Morena in the first place and the National Electoral Institute (INE), which will soon tend to have the majority of councilors for this purpose of the political party.
In April, INE sold Dani Ravel Cuevas, Claudia Zavala Pérez and Jaime Rivera Velázquez, councilors of PRIAN, and Morena, with her aliases, holds the top position to choose their replacements. Now yes, will the right wing protest the capture of the electoral body that called when PRIAN hid it in 2003? Martínez Cázares is another PAN representative after using Morena as a hotel in the city. Are Margarita Zavala, who was also a member of this legislature, and all the abajo signatories further saying that the capture of INE by Morena is authoritarian and what they achieved in 2003 was democratic? We’ll see. They are pure scammers…
