“On July 18, 2026, Passeio Marítimo de Algés will be the stage for an unprecedented moment in Anitta’s career. ‘Os Ensaios da Anitta – Cosmos’, one of the artist’s most emblematic projects, crosses the Atlantic and arrives in Portugal for the first time, for its European debut”, says the show’s promoter, in a statement released this Thursday, February 5th.
The show takes place on a 360º stage. In other words, with the public surrounding the stage.
The lineup will include the singer’s “greatest hits”, “with arrangements specially designed for the spirit of ‘Os Ensaios da Anitta – Cosmos’, in a festive style inspired by Brazilian Carnival”.
“Ensaios da Anitta” are shows that the singer has performed in Brazil since 2019 before Carnival, but also an album, released at the end of 2024.
Anitta, quoted in the statement, explained that she chose Portugal for the premiere of the show in Europe “due to the cultural and linguistic proximity” that the country has with Brazil.
“The Portuguese consume a lot of our music and as a large part of the repertoire is in Portuguese, it makes sense for us to do the Rehearsals there. My European fans always asked when the project would cross the Atlantic. There it is! I want to see everyone enjoying the summer heat with me, huh?!”, said the singer.
Anitta, voice of songs such as “Vai malandra”, “Envolver”, “Show daspoderadas” or “Gostosin” has become one of the Brazilian artists with the greatest international recognition.
