He looks nonchalantly towards the female officer in a brown suit and blazer with her back to him.

Despite being handcuffed, Rivers slowly reaches out from behind without looking at her.

The officer immediately intervenes, grabbing Rivers and pinning him against the railing to stop the arrest attempt Miami Herald reported.

According to an arrest affidavit, Rivers “spontaneously laughed” after being tackled and said, “Good catch, but I don’t care.”

The incident was caught on camera and occurred as Rivers was taken into custody in a white tracksuit on Wednesday.

It happened just days after he was accused of kidnapping a Florida Memorial University student.

Rivers was arrested earlier that day and turned over to the Miami Gardens Police Department.

As officers walked him through the device, he walked past the female detective before allegedly brazenly trying to grab her.

He was eventually taken to jail and held on $510,501 bail, Miami-Dade County records show.

“He is a great danger to the community and women in Miami-Dade County due to his criminal history,” Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer told the court.

After Wednesday’s incident, Rivers was charged with attempted sexual assault without serious injury, battery on a police officer and two counts of resisting an officer without violence.

The charges are in addition to those allegedly stemming from a suspected rape around 7 a.m. Sunday at the Florida Memorial University campus in Miami Gardens.

Police say Rivers jumped a fence to enter the campus before approaching the victim, a Columbia student attending college in the U.S. on a student visa, as she waited at a bus stop.

According to the affidavit, Rivers stared at the student, whistled at her and continued after her after she ignored him.

He then allegedly asked to use her phone. When she refused and tried to leave, Rivers is accused of taking her phone, throwing her backpack on the ground, pinning her against a wall and kidnapping her.

The student called 911 after the alleged assault and reportedly submitted to a rape test.

Miami Gardens police were alerted to a homeless man hanging around campus on Monday, and when officers approached them, he agreed to be interviewed.

He denied abducting the student, but an arrest warrant on his DNA produced a rape match.

He was subsequently detained.

Rivers also has prior convictions for several separate felonies, including unarmed arrest, aggravated stalking with a credible threat and carrying a concealed firearm.

He also has several previous offenses of lewd or lascivious exhibition.
