Winter Weather Advisory issued for North Fulton until Thursday afternoon – up to 5 inches of snow

At 12:42 PM Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 1:00 PM until 1:00 PM Thursday for North Fulton.

The weather service says, “Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow accumulation between 3 and 5 inches.”

“Plan on slippery roads. Hazardous conditions could affect the commute Wednesday night and Thursday morning,” the weather service explained. “Slow down and use caution when traveling. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution when driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces can be icy and slippery, increasing the risk of falls and injuries.”
