Traffic Alert: North I-81 closed in Syracuse after a vehicle was disabled

Syracuse, NY – A portion of Interstate 81 in Syracuse was closed to traffic Monday evening after a car went off the road.

All northbound vehicles into the city were detoured onto northbound Interstate 481 starting around 8:20 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
