BALTIMORE, Maryland.— This Tuesday, authorities reported that a police officer that responded to a robbery report in Baltimore was shot in the leg by an armed man who was shot dead by another agent.
During the tense confrontation, a woman jumped out of a window and another woman was held at gunpoint by the man before he was shot, the police commissioner said Richard Worley.

“It was relatively quick because he was shooting at our officers,” Worley said.
Injured officer taken to hospital
The agent with a leg wound was in stable condition at the Trauma Center of the University of Maryland. He doctor Thomas Scalea praised the person who applied a tourniquet to the scene.

“We are very grateful that the officer or anyone else in that neighborhood was not seriously injured,” the officer told reporters. mayor of Baltimore, Brandon Scott. “Our thoughts are with him and his family, and even with the family of the deceased.”

The man who died was related to people in the home, Worley said.
No names were released. The Baltimore Fraternal Order of Policea union that represents officers, said “all members involved are in good spirits.”
