3 US soldiers die in operation in Iran, Trump promises to avenge them

At least 3 United States military died in an operation in Iran and the president Donald Trump promised avenge their deaths.

“Sadly, there will be more before (the war) is over,” Trump said in a video. “But the United States will avenge their deaths and deal the most devastating blow to terrorists waging war, basically, against civilization.”

He later addressed his message to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, whom he threatened with death if they did not “lay down their weapons.”

“I once again urge the Revolutionary Guards, the Iranian army and the police to lay down their weapons and receive complete immunity or face certain death,” he added.

Trump said he plans a four-week military operation against Iran, where U.S. and Israeli strikes have killed the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah. Ali Jamenei.

“It’s always been a four-week process. We estimate it would be four weeks or so,” he told the British newspaper Daily Mail during a round of interviews.

For its part, Iran has counterattacked Israel, as the death of at least nine people is reported in the city of Beit Shemeshas reported by emergency services. Another 28 were injured, according to the emergency service Belly David Adom.

Seven people were injured in the area Jerusalem after the latest salvo of missiles fired from Iran, Israeli firefighters said.
