Juma selected to the NJCAA All-Region 23 team

FULTON, Miss. – Postseason accolades continue to pile up for freshman forward Villads Juma, who earned a spot on the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region 23 Team, the conference announced Monday.

The native of Helsingor, Denmark had a remarkable debut season, leading the Indians with 20 goals – the second-most in a single season in program history, trailing only David Schumaker’s record of 24 goals set in 2007. Juma had a pair of hat tricks, first in ICC’s 8-1 win over Oxford Emory on Aug. 29 and again in the Southwest 100 game.

His standout year also included two MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honors, NJCAA Division II Player of the Week, All-MACCC First Team recognition and MACCC Men’s Soccer Player of the Year honors.

The Indians finished the 2025 season with an 11-4-4 overall record and a 6-1-4 conference mark, including wins over the seventh and eighth ranked teams in the nation along with a tie against the No. 11 team, while receiving votes in the final NJCAA season rankings.
