Whenever Pedro Passos Coelho speaks, the world doesn’t jump and move forward. Normally, the opposite happens, the political world freezes and waits. It is an undeniable power to trigger reactions with what you say or with what you prefer to leave silent. Few people were capable of such a “magistracy” of influence, perhaps Cavaco in the years he lived in Possolo, after leaving São Bento and before entering Belém.
I don’t know him well, but I have an appreciation for Passos Coelho. He is a singular, obsessive and providentialist man. He believes he has a destiny and that he will fulfill it, that of being the architect of real change in the country, a revolution that changes the paradigms of the economy and society. A revolution that is underway, leveraged by a majority of the entire right, which will include André Ventura and his gang.
