Mr. Nobody Contra Putin e All the Empty Rooms are the winners of the Oscar for documentary film, announced by presenter and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, at the Hollywood Academy ceremony taking place in Los Angeles.
All the Empty Roomsby Joshua Seftel and Conall Jones, won Best Documentary Short Film, and Mr. Nobody Contra PutinDavid Borenstein, Pavel Talankin, Helle Faber and Elizabeth Karáskova, o Oscar for Best Documentary.
During the announcement, Jimmy Kimmel praised reality cinema, without artifice or censorship, pointing to the President of the United States.
Kimmel mocked the fact that “the woman’s movie [do presidente]”, which shows “shoe choices in the White House”, was not named, in allusion to Melania. “Is he going to be furious? Wasn’t his wife nominated for this?” Kimmel asked, without mentioning Trump.
