A girl under the age of five was shot in the face on Friday (March 13) at night, in the slum of Penajoia, in Almada, according to the report. JN.
The child was transported to Garcia de Orta Hospital in the company of family members, according to the PSP.
The minor was admitted consciously and was never at risk of death, and it was already at the hospital that the authorities became aware of the case.
As it was a crime involving the use of a firearm, the Setúbal Judicial Police were called to investigate the case, the contours of which are still unknown, and no arrests were made.
