Samuel Ramírez Jr., 33, considered one of the 10 most wanted fugitives by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was captured in Sinaloa, Mexico, after almost three years on the run.
The arrest was made thanks to the cooperation between Mexican and US authorities. This was confirmed by FBI Director Kash Patel.
Ramírez Jr. has already been transferred to the city of Seattle, where he will face charges of double homicide, which occurred in May 2023 at the Stars Bar & Grill establishment, in Federal Way, Washington state. A man was also injured during the armed attack.

The suspect was included in the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list in November 2025. With a reward of up to one million dollars for information leading to his location.

Officials from both countries highlighted that cooperation and intelligence sharing allow criminals who try to evade justice outside their country of origin to be captured and prosecuted.
