The Minister of Labor, Palma Ramalho, called the UGT and the four business confederations to a meeting at the ministry next Monday to resume negotiations on the labor law, an official source told Lusa.
The Prime Minister had announced this Wednesday morning (11) that the Government will meet at the beginning of next week with the social partners about the labor law, saying that he “does not want to perpetuate discussion”, but “exhaust all possibilities of rapprochement”.
To Lusa, an official source from the Ministry of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security indicated that the meeting is scheduled for next Monday, March 16, at 3pm at the Ministry of Labor, in Lisbon, and will be attended by UGT, the Government and business confederations.
