The Epstein case, a mixture of corruption, addiction, debauchery and arrogance of the powerful of this world, has swept the elites across the board. Among the clients of Jeffrey’s favors are everything – from a brother of the King of England, to important figures in American politics and finance.
Of course, judging by the mediait would be said that Donald Trump, no longer able to be the only one, was, at least, the main frequenter of the great corruptor’s vicious circles – hence his effort to prevent the frank disclosure of documents, erasing them so that they would not compromise him.
However, during the Biden Administration, the Department of Justice and the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, had all of Epstein’s files at their disposal and were still untouched… Does anyone believe that, if there had been something serious against Trump, they wouldn’t have used it in the heat of the electoral fight? So much so that even the unsuspecting New York Times admits this, in the article “How Trump Appears in the Epstein Files”from February 1, 2026.
However, of Epstein’s many friends, there are two particularly curious and rarely mentioned: intellectual icon Noam Chomsky and former Mitterrand minister Jack Lang.
Chomsky, an important linguist and thinker of the North American radical and anti-capitalist Left, maintained a close relationship with Epstein, even after the predator had been exposed for his crimes, even giving him advice: that he should remain silent in the face of “the vultures” of the media because, “with the current climate of hysteria regarding the abuse of women, putting the veracity of an accusation at risk” was equivalent to “a crime worse than murder”.
In his attempt at rehabilitation, Epstein even released a letter in which Chomsky referred to “the long, deep and useful conversations” he had had with him. The truth is that, judging by the profuse exchange of e-mails between Epstein and Noam and Valeria Chomsky, the conversations, although not exactly deep, have everything to have been fruitful: “Come to New York or Caribbean?” – asks Epstein – “Valeria’s always keen on New York. I’m really fantasizing about the Caribbean island” – responds post-Marxist Noam Chomsky.
Other “profiteer” of Epstein’s friendship, money and intimacy was Jack Lang, Mitterrand’s Minister of Culture. The relationship dates back to 2012, when Epstein had already been convicted of pedophilia, a circumstance that, according to Lang’s lawyer, his client was unaware of, since, being French, “he didn’t read American newspapers”…
It is well known that the Langs have a very socialist fascination with luxurious homes paid for by the taxpayer and enjoy socializing with the super-rich. Jean-Pierre Colin, in The Actor and the Kingconfides that when he drew the couple’s attention to a lifestyle that could shock socialist voters, his wife, Monique, responded: “But if we’re not supposed to live the way we live, why get to where we are?”
In addition to having this disarming sincerity, Monique has always been a determined woman: in 1989, when her husband was Minister of Culture, she got her daughter, Caroline, an executive position at Maxwell Communication Corporation. Robert Maxwell, the father of Ghislaine, Epstein’s famous wife and “facilitator”, embezzled many hundreds of millions of pounds from the Pension Funds he managed and was Lang’s patron at the very moment when, with Epstein, he was selling weapons to the Middle East. Maxwell was also a socialist and was a Labor MP from 1964 to 1970.
