Jan Bednarek, defender of FC Porto, suffered a “costal injury” in the match against Sporting, played on Tuesday, in the semi-finals of the Portuguese Football Cup, the Dragons announced this Wednesday, March 4th.
In this first leg of the semi-finals, the 29-year-old Polish international had to be substituted in the 44th minute, following a challenge with Sporting striker Luis Suárez.
In the opposite direction, Thiago Silva has already participated in an integrated manner in this Wednesday’s training, at the Jorge Costa Sports Training and Training Center, in Olival, despite still being conditioned.
Nehuén Pérez, Luuk de Jong and Samu, with long-term injuries, are the other names that appear in Porto’s medical report.
FC Porto, leader of the I Liga, with 65 points, resumes preparations for the classic on Friday with Benfica, third placed, with 58, scheduled for 6pm on Sunday, at Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, in the 25th round of the competition.
