NUEVA YORK (EFE).— Apple has launched the latest MacBook Pro 14 and 16 models with the new M5 Pro and M5 Max processors as the company looks to improve professional performance and its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
It also introduced the MacBook Air with the M5 chip.
We then informed the technologist that the versions of our new MacBook will be available from next January 11th, although customers can reserve them today.
“MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro and M5 Max redefines what you can do with a professional laptop, and it’s now faster than previous generations,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, in a press release.
The new MacBook Pro lets you enjoy capabilities that “no other laptop can carry on a cable,” he assured.
“With the M5, MacBook Air powers a wider range of areas, from everyday production to creative workflows, and is even faster for AI, now with twice the minimum capacity, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 in a design that’s as elegant as it is durable with great battery life,” Ternus revealed in the lightweight version.
At this launch, Apple also unveiled the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, built using the new Fusion architecture developed by the company. These chips include an advanced CPU, the latest generation of GPUs with neural accelerators, and a greater level of unified memory bandwidth that “provides a collective boost” to AI computing.
The M5 Pro, according to Apple, is designed to “meet the needs of professional users who require high processing capacity,” while the M5 Max is designed for those who need the “highest performance GPU.”
